Zonta International around the world is over 100 years old!
Zonta International was founded in November 1919 and has since grown to include over 1200 clubs in 60+ countries around the world. The Zonta Club of Northampton Area (club number 128) was founded in 1934.
Our Zonta Club is only a small part of Zonta International, but we do what we love to do to help women and children in our area, as the many Zontian clubs do too.
Our club is only one of 32 Zonta International Districts, and one of 6 clubs in Area 2! While we do a lot at our own Club’s meetings, many of us also go meetings at our Area’s meetings, our District meeting, and even to Zonta International meetings. We get to meet many Zontians who are from any place in the world, and we learn so much from them too!
